Acacia Wood Butter Knife


Acacia wood (Akakia), also known as whistling thorn or wattle, dates back to Egyptian times where is was used for making coffins. There is over 1000 species in the family, and though the majority are found in Australia, it is also widespread in Asia and the Americas. 

This beautiful butter knife is sturdy and hard wearing. Perfectly matched with the Acacia wood bowls.

The butter knife is ethically sourced and manufactured by hand in the Philippines by a Japanese company. Due to the nature of the wood, each one will vary and have individual character.
