A keen environmentalist and conservationist, Robert Jungmann has been a leader in the hemp movement since the early ‘90s. In 2005 he founded Jungmaven after a trip to Costa Rica where he spent time working with hemp, natural dyes and batik printing.
Hemp is a natural fiber that’s cultivated with low impact on the environment. It requires no irrigation, uses no pesticides, synthetic fertilizers or GMO seeds. It’s one of the most durable natural fibers on the planet and results in a fabric with a wonderful hand.
Jungmaven products are made with 55% hemp blended with organic cotton, giving the shirts a softer hand and a little more structure.
